LeADERs
Hello! I’d love to share a little bit about myself through my About Me page.

As a student at Old Dominion University, I’ve had the privilege of engaging in many enriching learning experiences over the years. One initiative that has had a profound impact on my journey is LeADERS (Learning through Active Discovery, Engagement, Reflection, and Showcase). This program is designed to help students fully embrace their educational opportunities by encouraging experiential learning. The LeADERS program has guided me in aligning my goals and exploring my place in the world through various avenues like Leadership, ePortfolios, Academic Internships, Diversity, Entrepreneurship, Research, and Service Learning.

For me, the hands-on experiences in Leadership, Academic Internships, Entrepreneurship, Research, and Service Learning have been invaluable in shaping my path. These opportunities have given me a much clearer vision of what lies ahead, both academically and professionally, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.

Feel free to explore my deeper reflections on these LeADERS experiences through the links provided in the tabs section.

Goals Upon Graduation
Immediately after graduation, I plan to take the NCLEX to obtain my nursing license and officially begin my journey as a registered nurse. My goal is to start my career in the Operating Room at a community hospital, where I can build a strong foundation, gain hands-on experience, and refine my skills in surgical nursing.
In the future, I would hope to use my OR nursing skills to work outpatient, and gain more skills to go back to school and get a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) certification.
