First Semester of Nursing School – Junior Year

• Learn and understand class material to the best of my ability: Actively engage in lectures, labs, and study sessions to grasp key nursing concepts.

• Maintain a 3.7 GPA: Consistently prepare for exams and manage coursework effectively to achieve high academic performance.

• Solidify my nursing specialty interest: Explore different areas through shadowing and electives to pinpoint my ideal focus.

• Gain experience and comfort in providing patient care in clinical settings: Build practical skills and confidence by participating in diverse clinical experiences.

Last Semester of Nursing School – Senior Year

• Graduate from Old Dominion University with a BSN & a minor in community health: Complete all academic and clinical requirements to earn my degree and minor.

• Pass the NCLEX and obtain licensure in Virginia: Prepare diligently for the exam to secure my state nursing license.

• Begin my nursing career as an OR nurse or a Mother Baby nurse: Launch my professional journey by targeting roles in either surgical or maternal-neonatal care.
